Hlavním tématem této práce je hledání nové metody vyprávění dějin umění, které jsou jako předmět na středních a vysokých uměleckých školách značně opožděné oproti vědeckému výzkumu. Současné dějiny umění se rovněž potýkají s kritikou exkluzivity a eurocentrismu, kterou tato nová metoda zohledňuje důrazem na (latinské) ars jako tvorbu. Abstract:
The main theme of this thesis is the search for a new method of narrating art history, which as a subject in secondary and higher art schools is considerably lagging behind scientific research. Contemporary art history also faces the critique of exclusivity and Eurocentrism, which this new method takes into account by emphasizing the (Latin) ars as creation.
