Abstract:

Název diplomové práce je "Komparativní analýza regionální konkurenceschopnosti regionů soudržnosti". Cílem práce je zanalyzovat a popsat rozdíly z hlediska regionální konkurenceschopnosti NUTS II regionů soudržnosti Severozápad, Severovýchod, Dolnoslezské a Opolské vojvodství. V první části je provedena rešerše odborné literatury a článků s důrazem na koncept konkurenceschopnosti a přístupů k jejímu měření. V této části je dále představen design výzkumu a práce s daty. V další části diplomové práce jsou vymezeny pojmy, koncepty a teorie, které s danou problematikou souvisí. Následuje stručná regionální analýza zkoumaných NUTS II regionů soudržnosti. Důraz je kladen především na ukazatele, které jsou poté použity pro výpočet indexu regionální konkurenceschopnosti a regiony jsou porovnávány i s úrovní NUTS 0, aby bylo možné získat lepší přehled o jejich situaci. V poslední části je na základě zvolené metodiky spočítán index regionální konkurenceschopnosti jednotlivých zkoumaných NUTS II regionů soudržnosti za rok 2007 a 2016, podle nějž jsou regiony komparovány.

Abstract:

The title of the thesis is "Comparative analysis of regional competitiveness of Cohesion regions". The aim of the thesis is to analyze and describe the differences in terms of regional competitiveness of the NUTS II Cohesion region Northwest, Northeast, Lower Silesian and Opole Voivodeship. In the first part, literature and articles are reviewed with emphasis on the concept of competitiveness and approaches to its measurement. The design of research and the way of working with data are also introduced in this part of work. In the next part of the thesis concepts and theories related to the issue are introduced. Brief regional analysis of the examined NUTS II cohesion regions is following. In the regional analysis is emphasis placed on indicators that are then used to calculate the regional competitiveness index and the regions are compared with the level NUTS 0 in order to get a better picture of the situation of the regions surveyed. On the basis of choosen metedology is in the last part of the thesis calculated the regional competitiveness index of individual examined NUTS II cohesion regions for the years 2007 and 2016, according to which the regions are compared.
