Tato diplomová práce pojednává o postmoderních proměnách tematických prvků gotického románu v prózách Jana Křesadla. V dílčích kapitolách se zaměřuje na analýzu způsobu využití žánrově příznačných postav, motivů a prostoru v Křesadlových románech Mrchopěvci (1984), Zámecký pán aneb Antikuro (1992), Obětina (1994) a Skrytý život Cypriána Belvy (2007). The thesis discusses postmodern transformations of thematic features of the Gothic novel within works of prose by Jan Křesadlo.
