Love Magic among the Roma of the Slovak Podpolaní
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá tématem milostné magie u Romů na středním Slovensku. Hlavním záměrem této práce je popsat, analyzovat a interpretovat praktiky milostné magie, které se u romského etnika na Podpolaní udržely v povědomí. Práce dále zkoumá roli a postavení ženy v magických představách Romů a životnost těchto magických představ v konfontaci moderního způsobu života.
Abstract:
This work is about the phenomenon of love magic among the Roma of the Slovak Podpolaní. The main subjekt of this work is to describe, analyze and interpret acts of love magic, which are still in awareness among the Roma of the Slovak Podpolaní. Also I want to talk over about the status of women in the magical imaginations of Roma and to talk about the life of love magic in the face of modern life.
