Czech company's entry into the chinese market

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá vstupem české společnosti, konkrétně firmy Opavia - LU, s.r.o., na čínský trh. Cílem této práce je vypracovat podnikatelský plán a navrhnout jednotlivé kroky směřující k penetraci čínského trhu cukrovinek, jakožto i vhodnou strategii v rámci marketingového mixu. Strategie je navržena na základě získaných teoretických poznatků, které jsou obsahem zejména teoretické části této práce. Diplomová práce je členěna do tří kapitol. První kapitola je věnována základním poznatkům o vybrané zemi - její ekonomické a politické situaci, kultuře a demografii, geografickým aspektům, zapojení do mezinárodního obchodu a podnikatelskému prostředí. Druhá kapitola obsahuje základní teoretické informace o možných důvodech a formách podnikání, strategickém plánování včetně analýz vnitřního a vnějšího prostředí a vlivu kultury na obchodní spolupráci. Poslední kapitola seznamuje čtenáře s vybranou společností a jejím produktovým portfolime. Také obsahuje samotný podnikatelský plán, tedy návrh dílčích kroků a vhodné strategie penetrace čínského trhu sušenek společností Opavia, přičemž zvoleným sortimentem pro expanzi jsou tradiční lázeňské oplatky Kolonáda.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the entry of the Czech company, namely Opavia - LU, s.r.o., into the Chinese market. The aim of this paper is to develop a business plan and to propose individual steps towards the penetration of the Chinese confectionery market as well as an appropriate strategy within the marketing mix. The strategy is designed on the basis of acquired theoretical knowledge, which is contained in the theoretical part of this thesis. The diploma thesis is divided into three chapters. The first one is devoted to basic knowledge about the selected country - its economic and political situation, culture and demography, geographic aspects, involvement in international trade and its business environment. The second chapter contains basic theoretical information about possible reasons and forms of doing business, strategic planning including analyses of internal and external environment and the impact of culture on business cooperation. The last chapter acquaints the readers with the selected company and its product portfolio. It also contains the business plan itself, which is a proposal of partial steps and a suitable strategy for the Chinese biscuit market penetration by the Opavia company. The product portfolio selected for expansion is the traditional spa wafers Kolonáda.
