The other face of anti-etatism- An analysis of the assumptions of anarcho-capitalism and of its relationship with the environment

Abstract:

This work deals with the theory of "anarcho"-capitalism and fulfills three basic objectives in relation to it. The first objective was to present the vision and thought roots of the "anarcho"-capitalist society, in particular by its principal theorist Murray Rothbard. The second objective was to undertake a critical analysis of this vision and its assumptions, especially from the point of view of social ecological economics. The third objective was to observe what power relations arise from the argumentation of "anarcho"-capitalist theorists. Based on these goals, the main research question of this work was whether the "anarcho"-capitalist theory of unregulated free market and private ownership in a stateless society could resolve the negative environmental impacts associated with the current state capitalist society. I come to the conclusion that it is most likely that "anarcho"-capitalism will not solve these impacts, respectively it would tend to even make them worse.

Abstract:

Táto práca sa zaoberá teóriou „anarcho“-kapitalizmu a naplňuje tri základné ciele vo vzťahu k nej. Prvým cieľom bolo predstaviť víziu a myšlienkové korene „anarcho“-kapitalistickej spoločnosti predovšetkým pomocou jej hlavného teoretika Murray Rothbarda. Druhým cieľom bolo túto víziu a jej predpoklady či východiská podrobiť kritickej analýze hlavne z pohľadu sociálne ekologickej ekonómie. Tretím cieľom bolo sledovať, aké mocenské vzťahy vyplývajú z argumentácie „anarcho“-kapitalistických teoretikov. Vzhľadom k týmto cieľom hlavnou výskumnou otázkou tejto práce bolo, či by dokázala „anarcho“-kapitalistická teória neregulovaného voľného trhu a súkromného vlastníctva v bezštátnej spoločnosti vyriešiť negatívne ekologické dopady spojované so súčasnou štátnou kapitalistickou spoločnosťou. Prichádzam k záveru, že s najväčšou pravdepodobnosťou by tieto dopady „anarcho“-kapitalizmus nevyriešil, resp. by mal tendenciu ich dokonca zhoršovať.
