Tématem práce jsou tři instituty nového tiskového zákona z roku 2000 - právo na odpověď, právo na dodatečné sdělení a právo chránit zdroj a obsah informací. Cílem je nejen je představit a vymezit způsob jejich použití, ale především poukázat na to, jak se za více než pět let platnosti zákona zaužávaly v praxi.
