Accounting solutions for selected VAT topics

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje vybraným tématům v oblasti DPH. Cílem bylo u vybraných témat poskytnout komplexní řešení včetně aplikačního příkladu. Diplomová práce se proto zaměřuje na právní úpravu, účetní řešení a také související judikaturu. Prvním vybraným tématem je vznik a zánik registrace k DPH. Kapitola se zabývá zpětným uplatněním nároku na odpočet. Druhým tématem je úprava nároku na odpočet DPH u vybraného dlouhodobého majetku a jeho účetní řešení. Následuje téma režimu skupiny DPH. Kapitola obsahuje podmínky, za kterých je možné založit skupinu DPH, účetní souvislosti a související judikaturu. Posledním tématem popsaným v diplomové práci je zvláštní režim DPH pro investiční zlato. Velká část je věnována definici investičního zlata. Následuje způsob účtování při pořízení a následném prodeji investičního zlata.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on selected topics in the field of VAT. The aim was to provide a comprehensive solution including an application example for selected topics. The thesis therefore focuses on the legislation, accounting solutions and related case law. The first topic is the establishment and termination of VAT registration. The chapter focuses on the retrospective application of VAT deduction. The second topic is the adjustment of the VAT deduction entitlement for fixed assets and its accounting solution. The next topic is the VAT group regime. The chapter contains the conditions under which a VAT group can be established, the accounting context and related case law. The last topic described in the thesis is the special VAT regime for investment gold. A large part of this chapter is devoted to the definition of investment gold. The following is the accounting method for the acquisition and subsequent sale of investment gold.
