V rámci diplomové práce realizuji historický výzkum na téma "Firemní město-novodobý settlement?". Cílem práce je zjistit, zda a jak vymezení pojmu firemní město souvisí s obsahem pojmu settlement prostřednictvím identifikace společných znaků podpůrných služeb realizovaných v settlementech na přelomu 19. a 20. století a v Třineckých železárnách v době první Československé republiky. In my diploma thesis, I am carrying out historical research on the topic "Company town-the modern settlement?". The aim of the work is to find out whether and how the definition of a company town is related to the concept of settlement.
