Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku projektové metody, exkurze a vycházky a jejich využití v hodinách vlastivědy při výuce regionálních dějin na základní škole. Autorka se věnuje návrhu konkrétního výukového projektu „Židovské město Terezín“ pro vyučování vlastivědy, který je určen žákům 5. ročníku 1. stupně základní školy.
