Housing of seniors in the context of the proposal of social housing in the Czech Republic and the housing trends of seniors in the future

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou bydlení seniorů v souvislosti s návrhem Koncepce sociálního bydlení České republiky 2015-2025. Práce se zaměřuje na charakteristiku budoucích trendů v oblasti bydlení seniorů. Úvodní část se zaměřuje v obecné rovině na kategorii seniorů, jejich současné postavení v České republice, měnící se specifické potřeby seniorů ve vazbě k bydlení včetně zhodnocení konkrétních kroků státu v řešení bydlení. Dále se práce věnuje představení systému sociálního bydlení v České republice a popisuje realitu bydlení seniorů. Cílem práce je zhodnotit bydlení seniorů v České republice ve spojitosti s Koncepcí sociálního bydlení České republiky 2015-2025 a identifikovat budoucí trendy v bydlení českých seniorů. Práce je zpracována jako teoretická, má přispět k zamyšlení, zda současná navržená Koncepce sociálního bydlení České republiky 2015-2025 bude mít pro seniorskou kategorii přínos, neboť dnešní trend stárnutí populace je a bude zatěžujícím segmentem společnosti. Důraz práce je prioritně kladen na sociální bydlení v České republice, zda výhled sociálního bydlení bude v následujících létech flexibilní, dostupný, přínosný a vhodný pro seniorskou kategorii. Budoucnost bydlení seniorů směřuje k novým moderním inovativním formám bydlení, které jsou v práci podchyceny. Perspektivní bydlení seniorů nelze jen pojmout zajištěním bydlení pro osoby v bytové nouzi, ale i zohledněním nových trendů bydlení seniorů ke konceptu celoživotního bydlení s myšlenkou zajištění důstojného stárnutí.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with housing issues of seniors in connection with the proposal of the Concept of Social Housing of the Czech Republic 2015-2025. The work focuses on the characteristics of future trends in housing for seniors. The introduction is generally focused on category of seniors, their current status in the Czech Republic, the changing needs of seniors in relation to housing, including the assessment of concrete steps of the state in housing solutions. Further, the thesis is devoted to introducing a system of social housing in the Czech Republic and describes the reality of housing for seniors. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the housing of seniors in the Czech Republic in connection with the Concept of Social Housing of the Czech Republic 2015-2025 and to identify future trends in housing of Czech seniors. The thesis is designed as a theoretical one to contribute to considering whether the current proposed Social Housing Concept of the Czech Republic 2015-2025 will benefit the senior category as the current trend of population aging is and will be a burdensome segment of society. Emphasis is placed on social housing in the Czech Republic in priority, whether the outlook for social housing will be flexible, affordable, beneficial and suitable for the senior category over the coming years. The future of seniors' housing is geared towards new modern innovative forms of housing that are captured in the work. Perspective housing for seniors can not only be taken into account by securing housing for homeless people, but also by taking into account the new housing trends of seniors towards the concept of lifelong housing with the idea of ensuring dignified aging.
