Diplomová práce se zabývá náboženským životem v jičínském okrese v období normalizace. V práci jsou obsaženy postupné změny ve společnosti, především v kultuře a vzdělávání, které normalizace přinesla. Značná část práce je věnována římskokatolické církvi, životu v několika farnostech a osobám pod dohledem Státní bezpečnosti. The topic of this diploma thesis is religious life in the Jičín district during the time of normalization. The thesis contains a description of the gradual changes in society, mainly in culture and education, which were brought by the normalization.
