Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá architekturou Třeboně, menšího jihočeského města, které v 16. století proslavil šlechtický rod Rožmberků. Město je spjato především s velkým rozvojem rybníkářské činnosti v době renesance. Práce se zaměřuje na měšťanské domy postavené zejména v 16. století, které vytvořily obraz města tak, jak ho známe dnes. Na několika příkladech třeboňských domů je ilustrována typická podoba pozdně gotického a renesančního měšťanského domu a jeho proměny v průběhu staletí. Zároveň je nastíněn urbanistický vývoj města a zdůrazněna důležitost hradebního opevnění, jehož čtyři brány jsou unikátně dochovány dodnes. Druhá část práce se zaměřuje na památkovou péči ve 2. polovině 20. století a ukazuje, jak se její teoretické koncepty odrazily v praxi při obnově třeboňských domů.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to examine the architecture of Třeboň – a smaller town in South Bohemian Region that became famous during the 16th century due to the influence of the House of Rosenberg. The history of the town is bound together with the development of fish pond farming in the area during the Renaissance period. The main aim of the thesis are the town houses mostly built during the 16th century that created the image of the town as we know it today. A few examples of the town houses are chosen to demonstrate the prototype of the typical Late Gothic and Renaissance town house and the changes it undergoes throughout the centuries. The thesis also provides an overview of the urban development of the town and outlines the importance of the fortification, whose four main gates are uniquely preserved until today. In its second stage the thesis focuses on conservation of monuments in the 2nd part of the 20th century and shows the theoretical concepts applied in praxis during renovation of the town houses of Třeboň.
