The Protection of Competition and her meaning at the behaviour of the company

Abstract:

Hospodářská politika je činnost, při níž vláda používá určitých nástrojů, aby ovlivnila ekonomický a sociální vývoj dané země, přičemž se snaží dosáhnout určitých cílů. Hospodářská politika zahrnuje jak makroekonomickou oblast, tak oblast mikroekonomickou, jež je zaměřena na zvyšováníefektivnosti při alokaci zdrojů. Subjekty, které se podílí na procesu formulování hospodářské politiky, na jejím provádění a kontrole, označujeme jako nositele hospodářské politiky. Tyto subjekty prostřednictvím své činnosti, svých politických i ekonomických programů, v nichž formulují hospodářsko-politické cíle, směřují k nejdůležitějšímu cíli hospodářské politiky, jímž je maximalizace společenského blahobytu. Nedílnou součástí hospodářské politiky státu je politika ochrany hospodářské soutěže. Existenční ochranou hospodářské soutěže jako ekonomického a sociálního fenoménu proti jejímu narušování v podobě kartelových dohod, zneužití dominantního postavení a spojování soutěžitelů je v České republice pověřen Úřad pro ochranu hospodářské soutěže.

Abstract:

Economic policies are defined as an activity in which the government uses certain instruments to influence the economic and social development of the given country while aiming to reach certain goals. The economic policies include both the area of macroeconomics and that of microeconomics, the latter being focused on increased effectiveness of the allocation of resources. The subjects which take part in the process of formulating the economic policies, their execution and monitoring, are referred to as the generator of the economic policies. By formulating economic and political objectives these subject aim their activities to the most important goal of the economic policies, namely the maximization of the social welfare. An integral part of the economic policies of a state is the politics of protecting the economic competition. The body authorized in the Czech Republic as the existential protector of the economic competition against its disturbance in the form of cartel agreements, misuse of dominant position, and by uniting competitors, is the Office for the Protection of Economic Competition.
