Abstract:

Práce se zabývá otázkou, jaký obraz cizinců vytvářejí dva regionální deníky působící v Olomouckém kraji. Cílem obsahové analýzy článků je zjistit, v jakých kontextech se cizinci v tisku objevují, jaké informační zdroje jsou v textech využívány a zda novináři pracují s nějakými ustálenými stereotypními obrazy. Interpretace výsledků je vztažena k dosavadním zjištěním, která formulovali autoři podobných výzkumů, zabývajících se mediálním obrazem cizinců na celostátní úrovni

Abstract:

This work seeks to describe the way foreigners are approached in media. The aim of content analysis of articles is to discover the context in which foreigners are mentioned in newspapers. It also shows which sources of information are used in the articles or whether journalists work with some stereotyped images of those people. The results of the analysis are interpreted in relation to the findings of surveys already carried out in the past, which were dealing with the media portrayal of foreigners in national media
