Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá interpretací uměleckých děl s námětem mezních psychických stavů v českém umění na přelomu 19. a 20. století v umělecké a kulturní dimenzi. Tématika lidské duše, vztah této substance k tělu a její význam jako námětu ve výtvarném umění, byly předmětem dobového výtvarného vyjadřování, které také proměňovaly strukturu uměleckého díla. V umění prezentuje hraniční stavy mysli řada námětů, které odpovídají také požadavku na absolutní individualismus, uplatňujícího se při rozšíření prostoru výběru tématu, rozvolnění umělecké imaginace. Umělci také vystupují proti uniformitě moderní společnosti a prosazují osobitost uměleckého výrazu. Cílem práce je nahlížet na umělecké dílo primárně jako na vizuální médium, jehož explanace a interpretace se pohybuje v relačních okruzích vizuálních konvencí, kulturních, historických, sociálních a antropologických aspektů.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the interpretation of art representation of extreme mental states of mind in czech art at the turn of the 19th and 20th century in artistic and cultural dimension. The topic of the human soul, the relationship of this substance to the body and its importance as a theme in the visual arts, have been the subject of contemporary artistic expression, which also modified the structure of artwork. In art represents extreme mental states numerous themes, which are consistent with the requirement for absolute individualism, important for selection of art topis, asserting releasing of artistic imagination. Artists also stand out against uniformity of modern society and promote the uniqueness of artistic expression. The aim of this thesis is to look at an artwork primarily as a visual medium, whose explanation and interpretation varies in relational circuits of visual convention, cultural, historical, social and anthropological aspects.
