Propionibacterium acnes is gram-negative bacterium residing in human skin and it represents one of the factors which play role in the development of skin disease acne vulgaris. Propionibacterium acnes je grampozitívna baktéria sídliaca v ľudskej koži, ktorá predstavuje jeden z faktorov podieľajúcich sa na rozvoji kožného ochorenia acne vulgaris. Práve preto je častým cieľom terapeutických prípravkov. Ako alternatívna liečebná metóda javí potenciál enzýmová terapia, konkrétne využitie enzýmov s antimikrobiálnymi vlastnosťami.
