Science experiments and their application in research-oriented teaching in kindergarten

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na zkoumání využití přírodovědných experimentů jako efektivního nástroje pro badatelsky orientovanou výuku (BOV) v prostředí mateřské školy. V teoretické části práce analyzujeme základní principy BOV, zkoumáme možnosti jejich aplikace v mateřských školách, zkoumáme přípravu a samotnou realizaci BOV. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována rolím učitele a dítěte při implementaci těchto metod. Praktická část této práce obsahuje konkrétní návrhy experimentů vhodných pro děti předškolního věku, včetně detailního popisu jejich realizace a následné evaluace. Cílem této práce je aktivně podporovat rozvoj dětského zájmu o vědu prostřednictvím přírodovědných experimentů. Výsledky této práce budou sloužit k formulaci praktických doporučení pro pedagogy, jak efektivně podněcovat dětský zájem o vědu a podporovat rozvoj dětských přírodovědných dovedností v mateřských školách.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on exploring the use of science experiments as an effective tool for inquiry-based learning in a kindergarten setting. The theoretical part of the thesis analyzes the basic principles of inquiry-based learning, explores the possibilities of their application in kindergartens, and examines the preparation and actual implementation of inquiry-based learning. Special attention is paid to the roles of the teacher and the child in the implementation of these methods. The practical part of this thesis contains specific suggestions for experiments suitable for preschool children, including a detailed description of their implementation and subsequent evaluation. The aim of this work is to actively promote the development of children's interest in science through science experiments. The results of this work will be used to formulate practical recommendations for educators on how to effectively stimulate children's interest in science and promote the development of children's science skills in kindergarten.
