Abstract:
The diploma thesis penetrates the seemingly innocent, ahistorical and apolitical world of Disney and analyzes Disney’s “image of innocence”. By examining various issues concerning Disney’s public image – Disney films seen as “innocent entertainment” or Walt Disney perceived as “Uncle Walt” – the study offers a more complex picture of the Disney phenomenon.
