Creation of a manual for imagining of the chest and abdominal cavity

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tvorbou manuálu zaměřeného na rentgenových projekce hrudníku a dutiny břišní. V teoretické části je popsána problematika z oblasti vzniku a vlastností rentgenového záření, konstrukce rentgenových přístrojů, radiační hygieny včetně dozimetrie a také anatomií hrudníku a dutiny břišní. Kromě toho je zde popsána indikace k rentgenovému vyšetření, nejčastější rentgenové projekce k vyšetření hrudníku a dutiny břišní a také úloha a význam vzdělávání radiologického asistenta. Cílem praktické části bakalářské práce bylo vytvořit přehledný manuál rentgenových projekcí hrudníku a dutiny břišní. Součástí tohoto manuálu je popis přípravy pacienta, popis a zobrazení správného polohování pacienta, použití ochranných pomůcek z pohledu pacienta podstupujícího rentgenový výkon, expoziční parametry daného vyšetření, obrazová dokumentace konkrétně tedy rentgenové snímky daného vyšetření, kritéria pro hodnocení provedení rentgenového snímku a také upozornění na nejčastější chyby.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the creation of a manual focused on X-ray projections of the chest and abdominal cavity. The theoretical part describes the problems of the origin and properties of X-rays, the construction of X-ray devices, radiation hygiene, including dosimetry, as well as the anatomy of the chest and abdominal cavity. In addition, the indication for X-ray examination, the most common X-ray projections for examination of the chest and abdominal cavity, as well as the role and importance of training a radiological assistant are described here. The aim of the practical part of the bachelor's thesis was to create a clear manual of X-ray projections of the chest and abdominal cavity. Part of this manual is a description of the patient's preparation, description and display of the correct positioning of the patient, use of protective equipment from the point of view of the patient undergoing X-ray, exposure parameters of the examination, visual documentation specifically X-ray images mistakes.
