Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá fungováním, významem a rozvojem překladatelských a tlumočnických služeb v Evropské unii (EU). Pojednává o významu jazykové politiky a mnohojazyčnosti při řešení jazykové rozmanitosti a komunikace mezi členskými státy.
