Abstract:
V teoretické části této bakalářské práce jsou definovány termíny jako akcent, dialekt a standardní angličtina, dále se věnuje historii skotské standardní angličtiny, morfologii skotské angličtiny a sociolingvistickým činitelům, které jazyk ovlivňují. Poslední kapitola se věnuje analýze materiálů nahraných ve Skotsku v létě 2010.
Abstract:
The theoretical part of this thesis is devoted to defining accent, dialect, and Standard English; to historical background of Scottish Standard English; to morphology of Scottish English; and to sociolinguistic features influencing the language. The last chapter is devoted to the analysis of materials recorded in Scotland in the summer 2010.
