Abstract:
Předmětem této diplomové práce je oblast podnikových procesů a procesního managementu s důrazem na optimalizaci procesů. V teoretické části práce jsou popsány charakteristiky procesů, procesní orientace firmy a zlepšování podnikových procesů. V praktické části je zhodnocen konkrétní proces výběru dodavatele z pohledu procesního přístupu a jsou navrhnuta jeho zlepšení.

The issue of this thesis is the area of the business processes and process management with emphasis on the process optimization. In its theoretical part the work deals with charakteristics of business processes, process orientation in a company and process improvement.
