The bachelor thesis deals with the characteristics of common patients of the South Moravian Region Emergency Medical Service and the Crisis Centre of the University Hospital Brno. The theoretical part summarizes the issue of crisis, describes particular acute conditions in psychiatry, the functioning of the crisis centre, and the reform of psychiatric care in the Czech Republic.
