Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to compare the historical and political events depicted in the film The Iron Lady with scholarly sources. The thesis is divided into eight chapters which refer to the interpretation of different affairs in the film. The initial parts introduce the film, the film-makers and the language of the film. Cílem této práce je zhodnotit ztvárnění historických a politických událostí ve filmu The Iron Lady s odbornou literaturou. Práce je rozdělena do osmi kapitol, které se vztahují k filmovému pojetí různých událostí. Úvodní části práce představují film, jeho tvůrce a styl vyjadřování ve filmu.
