Lexical borrowings of French origin in German. A selective analysis from the topical field of gastronomy
Abstract:
This thesis focuses on lexical loanwords from the French language on the German language in a historical context. The French influence began in the Middle Ages and it was strongest from the first half of the 18th century to beginning of the 20th century, when France held a prestigous position.
Abstract:
Práca sa zaoberá prevzatými slovami z francúzskeho jazyka do nemeckého v historickom kontexte. Tento francúzsky vplyv má svoje počiatky v období stredoveku a najvýraznejšie sa prejavil od polovice 18. storočia do začiatku 20. storočia, kedy bolo Francúzsko symbolom prestíže.
