Differences in perception of space pseudo 3D maps between object and spatial visualizers

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá rozdíly mezi prostorovými a předmětovými vizualisty při vnímaní pseudo 3D map. Při výzkumu byli participanti testování dotazníky OSIVQ a Mentální rotace kostky. Dále byl participantům administrován samotný podnětový materiál s pseudo 3D mapami, během kterého byly pohyby jejich očí sledovány pomocí eyetrackingové technologie ve výzkumné laboratoři Hume lab. II. Při analýze jsme se zaměřili na jednotlivé oblasti zájmu, délku jejich fixace a pořadí přeskoků mezi jednotlivými oblastmi zájmu v návaznosti na upřednostňovaný kognitivní styl.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the differences between spatial and object visualizers in the perception of pseudo 3D maps. In the research, participants were tested with questionnaires OSIVQ and Mentální rotace kostky. Then they were tested the pseudo 3D maps material, during which the movements of their eyes were monitored by using eye tracking technology at the research laboratory Hume Lab II. In the analysis, we focused on the individual areas of interest, the length of their fixation and the order of skipping between the other areas of interest in relation to the preferred cognitive style.
