Anotace:

This thesis examines the interdependence between business model in- novation and dynamic capabilities within the retail sector towards di- gital transformation, using Aarong as a case study. It highlights how dy- namic capabilities—sensing, seizing, and reconfiguring—enable re- tailers to innovate and adapt business models to evolving consumer de- mands and technological advancements. Aarong’s adoption of an omni- channel model demonstrates the effectiveness of integrating physical and digital channels, fostering customer-centric personalization, opera- tional efficiency, and market expansion. The study addresses challenges like technological investment and organizational adaptability while un- derscoring the significance of data analytics and agility. It offers theore- tical insights and practical strategies for leveraging business model inno- vation and dynamic capabilities to sustain competitive advantage in a di- gital-first economy.
