Implementation of Yield Management in the Company Hotel Selský Dvůr

Abstract:

Hlavním předmětem mé práce je hloubková analýza množství dat, které se týkají obsaze-nosti Hotelu Selský dvůr***. Pro úspěšné zavedení Yield managementu je analýza histo-rických dat nesmírně důležitá, aby mohl hotel aktivně a adekvátně reagovat na změnu po-ptávky po svých hotelových pokojích. Hlavním cílem této práce je dokázat, že zavedením Yield managementu by bylo pro hotel vhodné a výhodné, jelikož cílem Yield managementu je maximalizovat tržby za ubytování. Hloubkovou analýzou jsem zjistila mnoho informací, k jejichž zužitkování dojde na konci mé práce, kde sestavím zjednodušenou kalkulaci zisku po zavedení Yield managementu.

Abstract:

The main subject of my work is deep analysis of amounts of data relating to the occupancy of the Hotel Selský Dvůr ***. For a successful implementation of yield management is the analysis of historical data extremely important in order to actively and adequately respond to changes in demand for their hotel rooms. The main objective of this work is to prove that the implementation of yield management would be desirable and advantageous for the ho-tel, because the aim of yield management is to maximize sales. In that deep analysis, I found a lot of information, whose utilization comes at the end of my work, which will put together a simplified calculation of profit after the implementation of yield management.
