The main goals of the work presented were to investigate: i) subspecies variations of pathogenic bacterium Francisella tularensis on proteome level; ii) the possible mechanisms of Francisella tularensis pathogenesis and iii) the possibilities to use proteomics techniques for bacterial identification and typing.
