Physiotherapy for total knee joint alloplasty in post-natal care

Abstract:

Abstrakt Cíl práce: Cílem práce je přispět k řešení problematiky fyzioterapie u pacienta s dg. totální aloplastika kolenního kloubu v období následné péče vhodným výběrem fyzioterapeutických metod a postupů. Metodika: V této části je zpracovaná kazuistika muže (68 let) s dg. aloplastika kolenního kloubu v následné péči. Na základě vstupního kineziologického rozboru byl sestaven krátkodobý fyzioterapeutický plán. Fyzioterapeutická intervence probíhala v období jednoho měsíce formou 10 návštěv. K léčbě byly využity následující metody a koncepty: myofasciální a mobilizační techniky, postizometrická relaxace, postfacilitační strečink, cvičení v otevřených i uzavřených kinematických řetězcích, Spiraldynamik? a Imoove?.V průběhu terapie byla provedena kontrolní vyšetření se zaměřením na rozsah pohybu a svalovou sílu kolenního kloubu. V závěru je proveden výstupní kineziologický rozbor a porovnání výsledků. Na tomto základě byl pacientovi sestaven dlouhodobý fyzioterapeutický plán. Terapie probíhala v lázních Teplice v Čechách. Celkově proběhlo 10 návštěv o délce 45 minut. Rehabilitace trvala čtyři týdny, byla zahájena 11. 9. 2017 a ukončena 5. 10. 2017. Výsledky: V terapii jsem dosáhla zlepšení rozsahu pohybu v kolenním kloubu, zvýšení svalové síly dolních končetin, zlepšení stability kolenního kloubu a zlepšení celkového funkčního stavu pacienta. Závěr: Práce mi přinesla mnoho cenných zkušeností, které zajisté využiji dále při své praxi. Kladný přístup pacienta k terapie samotné, jeho motivace k soběstačnosti a aktivnímu životnímu stylu, nás dovedla k pozitivním výsledkům.

Abstract:

Summary Aim: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to contribute to the issue of physiotherapy at a patient in total arthroplasty of the knee joint during the aftercare period with optimal choice of physio therapeutic methods and procedures. Methodology: In this bachelor thesis there is a processed case report of the man (68 years old) with total knee arthroplasty in an aftercare period. Based on the initial kinesiological analysis, the patient was assembled with a short-term rehabilitation plan. The physiotherapeutic intervention took one month in the form of ten visits. For treatment there were used these methods and concepts: myofascial and mobilization technology, post-isometric relaxation, post-isometric stretching, exercises in open and closed kinematic chains, Spiraldynamik? and Imoove?. During the therapy there were performed control examinations which were focused on the range of motion and muscle strength of the knee joint. In conclusion there is the kinesiological analysis performed and then results are compared. On this base a long-term physiotherapy plan was assembled for the patient. Therapy was taking place in the spa Teplice. 10 visits were performed in total, every visit lasted 45minutes. The rehabilitation lasted four weeks, started 11th September 2017 and ended 5th October 2017. Results: In therapy I have achieved an improvement in the range of movement in the knee joint, an increase in the muscular strength of the lower limbs, an improvement in the stability of the knee joint and an improvement in the overall functional condition of the patient. Conclusion: The work has enriched me with valuable experience that I will certainly use in my next practice. The positive attitude of the patient to the therapy and his motivation for self-sufficiency and active lifestyle has let us to positive results.
