Práca je zameraná na bakteriálny druh S. aureus. Popisuje zložky jeho genómu. Je špeciálne zameraná na mobilné gentické elementy zodpovedné za virulenciu a rezistenciu tohto druhu. V práci sa venujem najmä meticilín-rezistentnému S. aureus, ktorý infikuje ľudí i živočíchy. Potenciálny prenos tejto baktérie zo živočíchov na ľudí je taktiež popísaný. Abstract:
This piece of work deals with the description of the bacterial strain Staphylococcus aureus. It presents the composition of S. aureus genome and accessory mobile genetic elements. These variable units are responsible for the pathogenesis and virulence of this bacterium.
