Abstract:

Červený, Patrik, Bankovní akreditivy a záruky. Diplomová práce, Praha, 2020. Má diplomová práce je zaměřena na dokumentární akreditiv a bankovní záruku a pokusím se v ní tyto nástroje charakterizovat a porovnat. Současně se zaměřím na vysvětlení jejich využití v platebním styku. V teoretické části vymezím pojmy dokumentárního akreditivu a bankovní záruky, dále vysvětlím průběh a využívání těchto platebních a zajišťovacích instrumentů a přiblížím jednotlivé typy a druhy dokumentárního akreditivu a bankovní záruky. Zaměřím se i na rozdíly mezi těmito dvěma instrumenty a podmínky jejich použití. V praktické části porovnám objem poskytnutých platebních a neplatebních bankovních záruk na finančním trhu u dvou vybraných bank a dále popíši proces bankovní záruky v praxi. V závěrečné části srovnám dokumentární akreditiv a bankovní záruku.

Abstract:

Červený, Patrik, Bank letter of credit and quarantees. Diploma thesis, Praha, 2020. My dissertation is focused on the documentary letter of credit and bank guarantee. I will try to characterize and compare these two instruments. Simultaneously I will focus on explaining their usage within the payment system. I will define the concepts of the letter of credit and the bank guarantee in the theoretical part of the dissertation as well as the course and utilization of these payment and security instruments. Also, I will bring forward the individual types and varieties of the documentary letter of credit and bank guarantee. Moreover, I will focus on the contracts between these two instruments and their terms of use. In the practical part I will compare two banking institutions regarding the volume of the provided payable and non-payable bank guarantees on the financial market. Furthermore, I will describe the process of the bank guarantee in practice. In the conclusion I will then contrast the documentary letter of credit and bank guarantee.
