Nursing Process of a Senior Patient with Stage 3 Gonarthrosis

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je ošetřovatelský proces u pacientky seniorky s gonartrózou III. stupně. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí, a to na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část se věnuje vysvětlení problematiky gonartrózy, charakterizuje příznaky a příčiny onemocnění, rizikové faktory, diagnostiku a pomocné vyšetřovací metody a samotnou terapii. Terapie je rozdělena na konzervativní léčbu a na léčbu chirurgickou. Konzervativní léčbu zahrnují rehabilitace, režimová opatření a farmakologické terapie. Další část tvoří specifika ošetřovatelské péče o operovaného pacienta. Ta zahrnuje popis přípravy pacienta před operací, předoperační vyšetření, popis operace, komplikace a hodnocení bolesti u pacientů staršího věku. Součástí teoretické části jsou rovněž popsány rehabilitační cvičení zaměřená na gonartrózu, včetně popisu ošetřovatelského procesu a jeho pěti kroků. Praktická část se soustřeďuje na ošetřovatelský proces u pacientky seniorky docházející do rehabilitační ambulance. Podle aktuálního stavu pacientky byly stanoveny aktuální a potenciální ošetřovatelské diagnózy, současně byly určeny krátkodobé cíle spolu s cíli dlouhodobými, na které byly naplánovány ošetřovatelské intervence. Následně je popsána jejich realizace a zhodnocení ošetřovatelského procesu. Na závěr jsou rozepsána doporučení pro pacientku s gonartrózou, pro rodinu pacientky a pro zdravotníky.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor’s thesis is a nursing process of a female senior patient with the stage 3 gonarthrosis. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical section is dedicated to explaining the issue of the gonarthrosis, to characterize symptoms and causes of the disease, risk factors, a diagnosis and auxiliary examination methods and a treatment. The treatment is divided into a conservative treatment and a surgical treatment. The conservative treatment includes rehabilitation, treatment measures and pharmacological treatments. Next part constitutes the specifics of nursing care for the operated patient. This part includes a description of patient preparation for the surgery, pretreatment care, preoperative examination, a description of the operation, complications of the operation and a pain assessment in a senior patient. The theoretical part also describes rehabilitation exercises special for gonarthrosis, with a description of the nursing process and its five steps. The practical section focuses on the nursing process of a female senior patient visiting physical therapy. The current and potential diagnoses were made according to the patient's current condition, at the same time, short-term and long-term goals were set and nursing interventions were planned. Subsequently, the implementation of goals and evaluation of the nursing process are described. At the end, recommendations for the senior patient with gonarthrosis, the patient's family and healthcare professionals are suggested.
