Abstract:
Tato práce se věnuje Borsukově-Ulamově větě a jejím aplikacím. Práce začíná popisem mnoha verzí této věty společně s geometrickým důkazem. Dále uvádíme často překvapivé aplikace této věty, např. známou "sendvičovou větu" nebo dolní mez chromatického čísla Kneserových grafů. Abstract:
This thesis focuses on the Borsuk-Ulam theorem and its applications. We begin by describing several versions of the theorem along with a geometrical proof. Next, we present interesting applications of the theorem, for example the Ham sandwich theorem or a lower bound of the chromatic number of Kneser graphs.
