Economic Evaluation of Battery Storage Integration in Household Photovoltaic Installations

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá ekonomickým hodnocením integrace bateriových systémů do domácích fotovoltaických instalací. Nejprve je vysvětlen princip funkce fotovoltaiky, přičemž jsou představeny i druhy fotovoltaických panelů a jejich konstrukce. Následně je vysvětlen princip bateriových článku a poté je provedeno porovnání různých typů baterií s potenciálem využití v domácích fotovoltaických instalací za účelem výběru optimální technologie do případové studie. Dále jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy potřebné pro výpočet peněžních toků plynoucích z investice do fotovoltaického systému v podobě úspory peněz za energii jako je odhad solární energie dopadající na osluněnou plochu, produkce elektrické energie fotovoltaickými panely a odhad spotřeby elektrické energie v domácnosti. Nakonec jsou na definované případové studii provedena hodnocení instalace bez integrované baterie a s integrovanou baterií, přičemž výsledky jsou srovnávány a vyhodnoceny vhodnou metodou ekonomické analýzy.

Abstract:

This work deals with the economic evaluation of the integration of battery systems into domestic photovoltaic installations First, the principle of photovoltaic function is explained, while the types of photovoltaic panels and their construction are introduced. Subsequently, the principle of battery cells is explained and then a comparison of different types of batteries with the potential for use in domestic photovoltaic installations is made in order to select the optimal technology for the case study. Furthermore, the basic concepts needed to calculate the cash flows from investing in a photovoltaic system in the form of energy savings such as the estimate of solar energy falling on the sunlit area, the production of electricity by photovoltaic panels and the estimation of household electricity consumption are explained. Finally, evaluations of the installation without integrated battery and with integrated battery are performed on a defined case study, while the results are compared and evaluated by a suitable method of economic analysis.
