Abstract:
Regulační proteiny 14-3-3 jsou intenzivně studované pro svou roli v buněčném cyklu i různých onkologických a neurodegenerativních onemocněních. Funkce 14-3-3 proteinů, přítomných prakticky v každé eukaryotické buňce, silně závisí na jejich dimerním charakteru. Existuje 7 lidských izoforem 14-3-3, které mohou tvořit homo- i heterodimery. Ubiquitously expressed regulatory proteins 14-3-3 are intensively studied due to their impact on cell cycle and neurodegenerative and oncological diseases. Function of 14 3 3 proteins, which are present in all eukaryotic cells, is strongly dependent on their dimeric nature. 7 isoforms of 14-3-3 are included in human proteome.
