Social work with clients released from prisons in the Kutna Hora region

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je analyzovat systém dostupných služeb pro klienty propuštěné z výkonu trestu odnětí svobody na Kutnohorsku. Dalšími cíly jsou zjistit využitelnost služeb, které nabízí organizace a instituce na Kutnohorsku, ze strany klientů navracejících se z výkonu trestu odnětí svobody a dále pak informovanost propouštěných klientů z výkonu trestu odnětí svobody o těchto institucích a organizacích. Další pak je prozkoumat spolupráci institucí a organizací a metody práce s klienty propuštěnými z výkonu trestu odnětí svobody na Kutnohorsku. Nejprve jsem se zabývala sociální prácí s klienty v prostředí věznice, penitenciární péčí o klienty ve věznici a poté sociální prací a postpenitenciární péčí o klienty propuštěnými z výkonu trestu odnětí svobody na Kutnohorsku. Hlavní cíl byl splněn, bylo analyzováno sedm organizací a institucí, které se věnují klientům propuštěným z výkonu trestu odnětí svobody. Dále proveden kvantitativní výzkum, kterým bylo zjištěno, že nejčastěji navštěvovaným ze strany klientů je sociální kurátorka. Ostatní instituce a organizace jsou navštěvovány v menší míře. Informovanost odsouzených před propuštěním je na dobré úrovni. Kvalitativním výzkumem byly zjištěny jednotlivé metody práce s klienty a také, že největší spolupráce je mezi sociální kurátorkou a oblastní charitou. Další spolupráce mezi institucemi a organizacemi probíhají až v případech, kdy s klientem něco zařizují. Postpenitenciární péče je pro klienty propuštěné z výkonu trestu odnětí svobody velmi důležitá a měl by na ni být kladen větší důraz.

Abstract:

The main object in this bachelor thesis is analysed the system of the accessible services for clients released from prisons in the Kutna Hora region. Services efficiency offered by organizations and institutions in the Kutna Hora region, on the part of clients returning from prisons, and furthermore informedness of clients released from prisons about this organizations and institutions, are the other objects which have to be discovered. The research of organizations and institutions cooperation and the working methods with clients released from prisons in the Kutna Hora region are the next objects. First of all I examine for social work with clients in a prison environment, penal care of clients in prisons and social work as well as post penal care of clients released from prisons in the Kutna Hora region. The main object was realized, seven organizations and institutions, which attend to clients released from prisons, were analysed. The quantitative research came next and as a result was find out, that clients released from prisons most often visit a social curator. Other organizations and institutions are frequented less. Informedness of clients before release from prisons is classified very well. Individual working methods with clients were detected by qualitative research as well as the fact, that the most active cooperation occurs between social curator and regional charity. Other cooperation between organizations and institutions and clients proceeds in the case of doing some steps together. The post penal care is very important for clients released from prisons and our community should place emphasis on it.
