Abstract:
The bachelor thesis „MCTs concerning healthy and ill individuals“ concludes basic knowledge about digestion, absorbtion and metabolism of MCTs. Based on this conclusion come out the possibilities of usage of MCTs in sports nutrition, in fat mass reduction and in clinical nutrition.
