Satisfaction of visitors in Brno and its surroundings as a tourist destination with a focus on culinary tourism

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá spokojeností návštěvníků v turistické destinaci Brno a okolí. V první části byla provedena literární rešerše všech potřebných pojmů ke studiu dané problematiky. Speciální pozornost byla věnována kulinářskému cestovnímu ruchu. Součástí práce jsou dvě dotazníkové šetření, provedená metodou TAPI. Jedno se zaobírá spokojeností návštěvníků, pomocí kterého bylo zjištěno, že sektor stravování výrazně působí na celkovou spokojenost s pobytem v destinaci. Druhé je zaměřeno na gastronomickou situaci zvolené destinace. V praktické části je po vyhodnocení dat navrženo, jakým způsobem by se daná destinace mohla stát vyhledávanější za účelem gastroturismu.

Abstract:

This Bachelor´s thesis is focused on satisfaction of visitors in the tourism area of Brno and its surroundings. The first part defines all the necessary concepts so as to understand the issue. Special attention is paid to culinary tourism. The thesis contains two questionnaires, both done by the TAPI method. The first one deals with satisfaction of customers, by which was found out that the restaurant industry significantly affects the overall satisfaction of the stay. The second one is focused on gastronomy in the selected destination. Finally, the practical part contains data evaluation and a proposal, how the destination could become more popular for food tourism purposes.
