The economic development Lužická nemocnice a poliklinika, a.s. and its dependence on changes in health care

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá ekonomickým vývojem vybrané společnosti v závislosti na změnách ve zdravotnictví. První část práce obsahuje stručnou charakteristiku ukazatelů finanční analýzy. Jde o analýzu absolutních dat, analýzu rozdílových ukazatelů, analýzu poměrových ukazatelů a analýzu soustav ukazatelů. V další části práce je popsána konkrétní společnost, a to Lužická nemocnice a poliklinika, a.s., a jsou popsány způsoby financování společnosti zdravotními pojišťovnami. Dále práce obsahuje výpočty finančních ukazatelů, které byly na začátku práce charakterizovány pouze teoreticky, a jsou uvedeny vývoje vybraných údajů společnosti, jako jsou náklady a výnosy, ale také například vývoj počtu pacientů. Navazuje část, ve které je vývoj společnosti včetně změn ve zdravotnictví popsán a vše je analyzováno za roky 2007-2012. Cílem práce je zhodnotit, zdali a jak ovlivnily změny ve zdravotnictví ekonomický vývoj zdravotnického zařízení v letech 2007-2012.

Abstract:

The presented thesis deals with the economic development of selected company depending on changes in health care. The first part of thesis includes the basic characteristics of financial analysis indicators. It consists of theoretical definitions of absolute data analysis, analysis of differential indicators, ratios analysis and analysis of systems indicators. In the next part of thesis there are the description of selected company Lužická nemocnice a poliklinika, a.s. and the description of company financing methods through the health insurances. The thesis includes also financial indicators calculations that have been characterized theoretically in the beginning of the thesis, and there are mentioned company data developments such as costs and revenues or number of patients. In the following part there is a description and analysis of the company development and changes in health care in the period of 2007-2012. The main target of this thesis is to analyze if the changes in health care have influenced the economic development of health organization in the period of 2007-2012.
