Cieľom diplomovej práce je poukázať na dopady hospodárskej krízy na ekonomiku Slovenska. Práca je rozdelená do siedmych častí. Teoretické východiská pojednávajú o prejavoch a príčinách krízy v USA a taktiež aj v Európskej únii.
