Mortality models and their use in actuarial demographics
Abstract:
Diplomová práce se zabývá modelováním úmrtnosti a graduací úmrtnostních tabulek využívaných v pojišťovnictví. Důraz je kladen především na jednotlivé modely graduace, testování jejich přesnosti a hladkosti a ukázky praktické aplikace. Výpočty jsou prováděny na základě získaných dat v tabulkovém procesoru MS Excel.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with mortality modeling and graduation of mortality tables used in insurance industry. Significant emphasis is targetted to each of the mortality models, testing their precision, smoothness and showing their practical use. Calculations are performed using MS Excel spreadsheet based on acquired data.
