Cycling Transport for the City of Pardubice

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je věnována cyklistické dopravě ve městě Pardubice. První část se zabývá charakteristikou cyklistické dopravy. V druhé části je popsáno navrhování komunikací pro cyklisty a ve třetí části je provedena analýza současného stavu cyklistické dopravy v Pardubicích a dopravní průzkum cyklistické dopravy. Čtvrtá část je syntézou získaných údajů a je v ní navržena síť cyklistických tras v Pardubicích.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with bicycle transportation in the city of Pardubice. The first deals with the characteristics of cycling transportation. In the second part is described the process of cycleway designing and in the third part is analysed the current state of cycling transport in Pardubice and traffic survey of cycling transport. The fourth part is the synthesis of acquired data and there is designed new network of cycle routes for Pardubice.
