Possibilities of using crowdfunding in financing start-ups in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Cílem práce je vyhodnotit možnosti využití odměnového crowdfundignu při financování start-upů v České republice. Práce dále určí klíčové faktory úspěšnosti pro všechny kampaně a pro kampaně start-upů. První část se zaměřuje na teoretické pojetí crowdfundingu. Zde jsou obecně popsány typy crowdfundingů, jeho výhody a nevýhody a popsány faktory úspěšnosti. Dále je podrobně popsán crowdfunding ve světě a v České republice se zaměřením na portály Hithit a Startovač. Součástí práce je provedená studie pro určení faktorů úspěšnosti crowdfundingových projektů. Data pro studii jsou čerpány z portálu Hithit a Startovač. Získané výsledky jsou diskutovány a jsou posouzeny faktory úspěšnosti crowdfundingových projektů.

Abstract:

The aim of bachelor thesis is evaluate possibility reward crowdfunding for start-up projects in Czech republic. The bachelor thesis determinated key factors of success for all typer of campaign and for start-up campaign. The first chapter describes crowdfunding in theory. There are described types of crowdfunding, advantages and disadvatages of crowdfunding and there are described factors of success. Next chapter describes crowdfunding in the world and reward crowdfunding in Czech republic. We can determinate key factors, this study is in practical part of the thesis. Czech portals Hithit and Starter are sources of data for practical part. Test results are discussed. Key factors from practical study are compared with factors in theory.
