Karlštejn Castle. Construction Changes of the Castle during the Puristic Reconstruction done by Architect Josef Mocker

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá komplikovaným stavebně historickým vývojem hradu Karlštejn s důrazem položeným na stavební proměnu celého objektu v průběhu jeho dlouhodobě připravované a v závěru 19. století realizované puristické restaurace, pod vedením významných architektů té doby, prof. Fridricha von Schmidta a zejména jeho žáka, architekta Josefa Mockera.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on complicated historical building development of the Karlštejn castle with emphasis on building change of the whole object in process of its long-term planned and in the 19th century realized purist renaissance, led by significant architects of that time, prof. Fridrich von Schmidt and especially his pupil, Josef Mocker.
