Postoperative pain in intensive care

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je význam pooperační bolesti v intenzivní péči z pohledu pacientů a také z pohledu nelékařského zdravotnického personálu. Pooperační bolest stále patří mezi aktuální témata pacientů chystajících se k operaci. Léčba pooperační bolesti je multidisciplinární týmový úkol. Kvalitní léčbou pooperační bolesti můžeme zlepšit celkové výsledky operační léčby. Teoretická část práce je tvořena základními výchozími body, týkající se pooperační bolesti. V rámci teoretické části jsou informace k dané problematice seskupeny do několika kapitol. Kapitoly jsou zaměřeny na definici bolesti, klasifikaci bolesti, bolest v pooperační péči, diagnostiku akutní pooperační bolesti a nedílnou součástí je léčba v pooperační péči. Praktická část práce je zaměřena na kvantitativní výzkumné šetření, zrealizované na skupině pacientlů a nelékařského zdravotnického personálu, které bylo výchozí pro zpracování stanovených cílů výzkumu. Zjištěné údaje jsou dále interpretovány pomocí statistických metod a grafů

Abstract:

The topic of the dissertation is the importance of Postoperative pain in intensive care from the perspective of patients as well as from the perspective of non-physician medical staff. Postoperative pain is still a topical issue for patients to undergo surgery. Postoperative pain treatment is a multidisciplinary team task. We can improve the overal results of surgical treatment with high quality Postoperative pain treatment. The theoretical part of the thesis consists of fundamental starting points concerning Postoperative pain. Within the theoretical part, information on the issue is grouped into several chapters. The chapters are focused on the definition of pain, pain classification, pain in Postoperative care, diagnosis of acute Postoperative pain as well as treatment in Postoperative care. The practical part of the thesis is focused on a quantitative research survey, conducted with a group of patients and non-physician medical staff, upon which the defined research objectives were elaborated. The obtained data are further interpreted using statistical methods and graphs.
