Bakalářská práce shrnuje nejnovější poznatky týkající se Downova syndromu, jakožto nejznámější chromozomové poruchy u člověka. Práce obsahuje průřez historií syndromu, jeho detailní popis a informace o kauzálních příčinách tohoto onemocnění. The Bachelor thesis summarises the most recent findings regarding Down syndrome as the chromosome disorder best known in humans.
