Optimizing the transportation of coal from the North Bohemian brown coal basin in thermal power plants

Abstract:

Hnědé uhlí je stále nejvyužívanějším zdrojem výroby elektrické energie v tepelných elektrárnách u nás. Vzhledem k tomu, že objem spotřeby hnědého uhlí je obrovský, tak i úspora v malém množství na jednotku objemu nám umožní ušetřit velké prostředky. Z tohoto hlediska je vhodné optimalizovat přepravu uhlí, která povede ke zefektivnění dopravy této komodity. Cílem diplomové práce je poskytnout přehled o stávajícím stavu přepravy uhlí ze Severočeských dolů a.s., seznámit s druhy dopravy uhlí, s využíváním různých zdrojů pro výrobu elektrické energie a návrhnout optimalizace dopravy uhlí do tepelných elektráren včetně ekonomického zhodnocení.

Abstract:

Brown coal is still the most used source of electricity production in thermal power plants in our country. Given the volume of consumption of brown coal is enormous, and the savings in small amounts per unit volume will enable us to save heavily. From this perspective, it is appropriate to change the volume of transported quantities to optimize the transport of coal, which leads to more effective transport of the commodity. The aim of the thesis is to provide an overview of the current state of transportation of coal from Northbohemian mines a.s., familiar with mining methods, the types of transport coal to the use of different sources of electricity generation and design optimization of transportation of coal to thermal power plants.
