Identification and functional characterization of predictive factors in glioblastoma multiforme
Abstract:
Multiformní glioblastom (GBM) je nejčastějším intrakraniálním nádorem astrocytárního původu. Patří mezi nejvíce letální nádory, jejichž prognóza je i při optimální léčbě nepříznivá s mediánem přežití 12-15 měsíců od stanovení diagnózy. Celkové přežívání pacientů významně prodlužuje terapie pomocí alkylačního činidla temozolomidu, ať už v konkomitanci s radioterapií nebo samostatně v adjuvanci. Odpověď …more
Abstract:
Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is one the most common intracranial tumor of astrocytes origin. It is very lethal tumor, with poor prognosis even when optimal treatment is received; median of survival is 12-15 months from diagnosis.
